The hotel is situated very close to Piazza Dell'Indipendenza and the Fortezza da Basso. It is just a ten minute walk from Florence's principal tourist attraction, the Duomo.
The hotel comprises more than 100 apartments; studio, one-room, two-room and three-room, are all soundproofed and air conditioned, furnished with satellite TV, and Internet connection and can also be reserved as individual rooms at a daily rate with breakfast services included.
The large rooms are apartment style and, some of them, have also a fitted kitchen area, which can be used upon advanced request and with payment on the spot. The rooms contain large armchairs and tables. The floors are ceramic tiled "Cotto" style. Both the rooms and bathrooms are in good condition.
The hotel does not have a restaurant, however it does have a spacious breakfast room which again contains a tiled ceramic floor. It is decorated in white with wooden tables and chairs.
The hotel is composed of two buildings. The original building a renaissance period Palace was designed by the famous architect Cosimo Bartoli. The hotel contains an annexe which is directly opposite the older building. Rooms in both buildings are identical in terms of standard and comfort. The lobby is large with the reception desk situated at the far end. It is furnished in a modern style but simple.
This hotel is an excellent property in an ideal location. In addition there is a roof terrace and a quiet spacious courtyard/ garden area where guests can relax in a peaceful and serene environment. The hotel also has large parking at 18.00 Euro per day.
