Overview
4 Star, Superior First Class Traditional Hotel
The hotel is located in the heart of renaissance Florence, in the 'Rione' of 'Filippo Brunelleschi'.
Rooms are vary in size, mainly medium and beautifully decorated and traditionally furnished. Carpets are present in every room, mahogany colour furniture is a must almost in every room and a special texture is fitted on the walls.
The restaurant is located in the Byzantine Tower on 3rd floor. It has an open beamed ceiling, and original stone walls. The restaurant serves excellent cuisine and the piano bar.
The hotel is unique in Florence for its structure which is composed of a modern building connected with a Byzantine tower, a semicircular building called 'Pagliazza Tower' which is the nucleus of the Hotel Brunelleschi. Its origin goes back to the VI century.
The lobby is big in size, a special kind of polished stone named 'Pietra Serena' is fitted to decorate the floor and brickwork for the walls. Its soft lighting gives a warm and cosy feel, on the left hand side of the lobby there is a reading area and a corridor that leads to the restaurant.
The hotel is perfect for a quite and romantic stay. Early booking is advised as this hotel is nearly always full. This is a very important historical building, the Towers museum houses the artefacts that came to light during restoration and, set in the Towers foundations, a calidarium of Roman origin.
