The hotel is very centrally located on the main road that leads from the station to the Duomo, and is within walking distance of all the major historical sites.
The bedrooms are different in size and furnished in a traditional style. Rooms have 'cotto' floor and creme wall. Some of them have the head of the bed composed by a canopy. There is only breakfast room available.
This is a traditional Florentine building dating from the sixteenth century, and used to belong to the Medici family.
The lobby is very small, decorated with terracotta tiles and wooden furniture and is located on the ground floor. The sitting area is pleasantly decorated, part of rooms has brick wall giving a rustic atmosphere. The sitting area has also 'cotto' floor and carpets with easy-chairs and wooden tables.
This is a unique property. The location is excellent and this is a very good quality hotel.
